About
Born in Rome. Open to the world.
BeKind is a cultural collective born in Rome, founded by Arsema Haile and Marlon Millan.

The story
The project was born as a meeting space between music, culture, style and community, with particular attention to afro-contemporary expressions and to the forms of creation that connect audiences.
Through events, collaborations and immersive formats, BeKind proposes a vision of Rome's cultural scene that is more open, more alive and more representative of its diversity. Every date is designed as a collective experience: a moment where the sound, the image and the energy of the place compose a common language.
Born in Rome, BeKind lives in a city of passage, mixture and reinvention — and builds there a programme connecting diasporic cultures, contemporary aesthetics and everyone looking for experiences that mean something.

What we believe
Music is not just entertainment, but a tool of connection, memory and transformation.
Our vision
BeKind stands for a cultural approach where music is not just entertainment, but a tool of connection, memory and transformation. The collective imagines formats where the party, the creation and the transmission share the same space, with a clear editorial standard and a strong identity.
The ambition is simple: to bring out in Rome experiences that leave a lasting mark — for the quality of the programming, the coherence of the aesthetics, the sincerity of the storytelling.

Our values.
Culture
The afro-contemporary cultures and artistic crossings that enrich the Roman scene. A programme should say something about the world it happens in.
Community
Spaces where people genuinely meet. Beyond the event: belonging, trust, sharing.
Creativity
Every project is a composition: music, image, place and atmosphere in dialogue. Formats that open possibilities.
Diversity
Not a theme: a working principle. In the teams, the audiences, the sounds and the collaborations.
Rigour
Quality of the selections, coherence of the partnerships, attention to detail. Rigour is what turns an experience into a reference.
Collaborations and universe
BeKind develops chosen collaborations with partners who share its cultural vision. Projects like NEEMA or Touch The Wood express this will to build bridges between the local scene, editorial storytelling and cultural circulation: connecting music to ideas, and ideas to places.
